Autumnal High

The autumn touched woods blissfully
bludgeon my eyes with a near death of pleasure
as I silently stood.
Euphoria dipped thoughts.
Like chocolate oozed on my bones.
Burgundy leaves sash the abandoning trees
to eventually blanket stone.
Timber flaunts flawless color
in the delicate seize of my soul.
The fall foliage abundant with stolen breath
gently mesmorizes.
Ivory clouds in their sultry slash across
the cerulean sky.
How lovely to be burdened by the heart's autumnal high.
