Cell Phone Dream

I had another dream late last night,
I was skeet shooting cell phones in the moonlight.

I was utterly irritated with my new phone,
all the scammers and spammers to which it was prone.

The incoming calls were becoming too many,
I needed some quiet time, if possible to get any.

So as I laid there in my bed, I heard that familiar ring,
and then one of those annoying social website pings.

I knocked the phone to the floor,
now it's gone forever more.

I don't miss it one damn bit,
but my mother is having quite the fit.

Now she can't call me night and day,
the peace and quiet are here to stay!
