A Day in the Sun

Long flowing hair and a drink in one hand,
she laid by the river to get a quick tan.

She soaked up the sun, turning bright red,
in a dark blue bikini on a pink floaty bed.

Sipping her drink in the hot summer sun,
and wearing ballet shoes just for some fun!

Ducks waddled about with nowhere to go,
fish swam near in the rivers quick flow.

Chilling in the mountains, no place to be,
summer’s finally here, it’s so damn good to see!
