Extraterrestrial

the Earth is a mystery so far away
a place to visit on some future day
spinning and twirling around the Sun
with species awaking again to become

celestial beings, beings of light
leaving the planet, exploring the night
discovering always and everywhere
the way to evolve is just breathe the air

rhythmic pulsations, watching each breath
thoughts dissipating 'til what is left -
consciousness rises to then float away
into the timeless, tomorrow's today -

Sirius rising, A, B and C
promising spiritual ecstasy
to the awakened moving through space
from planet Earth giving a taste

of forever and always, somehow somewhere
arriving to be here, just breathing air,
through rhythmic pulsations, watching each breath
all of forever is what is left

to metamorphize, transform and to change
alive in new places, some seeming strange
free from dark forces, gravity's pull
and electromagnetic's perpetual rule...
