She asked me to hold on for her
She told me she would hold on for me
I'm glad that she knows I love her
And I know she loves me
And together we will take this road
the one less traveled by
and they say there's hope
and we may not see it
but they've done nothing
to make us not trust
so this is a risk we'll take
like so many others
but this time what comes out of it is a gamble
