Violet Taste
Violet tasts like the flower
Or like blueberry muffins
On a chilly Fall day.
Violet is the sweetest nectar
Or the gooiest fruit pie
Smoothed by whip cream .
Violet tastes like heavens
Red apples and elderberries
Combined, making your mouth water.
Purple is violets plum cousin
Sweet and tart at the same time
Love, when you’ve lost it.

Purple painting
Shadows fell from the cauldron
At the foot of the green
Giving lots of colorful shapes
To the artistic mind
Now I don't have to fill my palette with colors
A painting that created a bridge between purple and green
The color that adds taste to life
A painter adds flavor to the imagination
Somewhere violet turns into shades of green
In some places the shadows mix
The blue sky turns purple
The painting is still incomplete without Purple Night
