I was suprised to learn recently that a woman's heart is smaller than a man's, it has thinner veins and pumps blood faster. There are other differences too, mainly driven by different hormones which means brains develop differently. Our continuing evolution is a messy business.

Of course, but if decisions are all down to DNA then our choices seem limited. Humans I perceive as ruthless earth destroyers, monkeys are a pain in the ass and lizards are nasty crawlers. Maybe we need different labels.

The number of DNA combinations is essentially infinite although a figure of 420 billion variants is now widely accepted. Here's how that diversity influences human behavior.

They can influence our ability to learn and remember new information, our ability to focus and  concentrate. Genes can influence our impulsiveness and our ability to make sound judgments and more importantly they influence our personality traits, such as introversion or extroversion, neuroticism and conscientiousness.
