Eternal X: A Love Letter to New Orleans

In Lafayette's quiet ground, I stand,
A paintbrush trembling in my hand.
The Voodoo Queen, her tomb now graced,
With one last "X," so carefully placed.

Oh, New Orleans, your spirit wakes,
In every line and stroke it takes.
Your essence whispers in the air,
A daring chant, "Come if you dare."

This city wraps you in her spell,
A love story that words can't tell.
She captures hearts, makes them her own,
A lasting tie you'll never outgrown.

I yearn for you, my distant home,
No matter where my feet may roam.
Oh, how your memory lingers on,
Even when I am long gone.

If you've ever been there or yearn to go, you'll understand the city's magnetic pull. The picture is my recreation of Lafayette Cemetery and Marie Laveau tomb in my VR world.
