Rhymes For Reasons
Under the guise of darkness befalls despair
Heartaches as hearts break each and everywhere
There're no crystal stairs here from my vantage point
Just disdain and chronic pain from arthritic joints
What's the point of it all if even angels fall from grace?
And nine one one calls are resolved based on our race
It's hard to face reality when fallacies run on primetime
As we're trying to make dollars outta nicks and dimes
What's the rhyme or reason for the seasons of rain?
Causing Cypress to be depressed and insane in the brain
These lanes on life's highways are bumpy with potholes
I introspectively use poetry as I continue to roll

A lot of life's suffering comes from past experiences. Synchronicity has been a major theme for me lately...who am I kidding? It has always been a major theme! Poetry is essential, even at those inopportune moments....
