Mother Dearest...
Mother dearest,
Please put the
bottle down,
I try to make you
hear my pleas,
But you never hear
a sound.
Mother dearest,
Why must you drink,
It makes you cruel,
And makes it hard
for you to think.
Mother dearest,
What did I do,
To make you want to
do this,
And for you to start
this abuse.
It's all my fault,
You were fine before me,
So I guess I deserve to,
Hurt and to bleed.
Soon things for you
will get better,
You'll no longer
hear me cry,
So please put the bottle
down,
And say goodnight.
Mother dearest,
When I'm gone,
I hope that you'll
get better,
And your drinking will
be done.
Please put the
bottle down,
I try to make you
hear my pleas,
But you never hear
a sound.
Mother dearest,
Why must you drink,
It makes you cruel,
And makes it hard
for you to think.
Mother dearest,
What did I do,
To make you want to

And for you to start

It's all my fault,

So I guess I deserve to,
Hurt and to bleed.
Soon things for you
will get better,
You'll no longer

So please put the bottle

And say goodnight.
Mother dearest,
When I'm gone,
I hope that you'll
get better,
And your drinking will
be done.
