Le cordonnier mal chaussé
Yes, just like the shoemaker
Who never bothered to fix his own shoes.
He religiously went to see his friend
In the hospital, took care of his every need
(Even smuggling in stuff that was not allowed...)
All to make sure that his friend lacked for nothing.
Yet, yet, yet.
He never bothered with his own failing health
Refused to follow friends or doctor's advice
''Not one of these quacks is going to cut me up''
Preferring to kill pain with tons of pills
The pain of not being able to help
Saddens me.
Saddens me.
