Clean
Clean
The
water drips down steady and warm.
Will
my sins be washed away?
Over
my breasts, on my stomach and down my thighs
The
drops collide into a stream
If
I step out I might be renewed
To
start a fresh new page
I
just want to stand here forever
It
would all be so simple
Just
close my eyes and listen.
It
taps against my window
And
whispers my name.
It’s
calling me to join them
It’s
calling me to sleep.
But
when I awake will there be any difference?
I have hope.
My
sins and my body will be cleansed.
My
soul untouched.
The
water drips down steady and warm.
Will
my sins be washed away?
Over
my breasts, on my stomach and down my thighs
The
drops collide into a stream
If
I step out I might be renewed
To
start a fresh new page
I
just want to stand here forever
It
would all be so simple
Just
close my eyes and listen.
It
taps against my window
And
whispers my name.
It’s
calling me to join them
It’s
calling me to sleep.
But
when I awake will there be any difference?
I have hope.
My
sins and my body will be cleansed.
My
soul untouched.
