Little bird

Fly fly fly.
Fly away into the blue sky.
Fill your little lungs with fresh air.

No not near the city,
Where the smoke runs thick as tar,
For surely you will die.

Go over the pure hills,
Where ever they may be,
That your life may be harmonious.

Watch out!
The hawk of war circles above!
He is the harbinger of death!

How long will you fly away?
Where will you go?
No place is safe!

You used to just sit to watch the world,
Think of  humanity,
And sing your bardic songs!

But alas, the world has found you!
It wishes to hunt you down,
For you are what they thrive on!

Only you see your own tragedy!
You dug into the thoughts the world so long,
You deepened yourself!

Fly away,
Little bird,
From everything.

How long has it been,
Since you last ate?
Since you have broken your fasting?

So thin yet so insightful,
Yet in this world,
The gluttons will eat anything.
