Author's Note
Basically, this pertains towards some of what's wrong with the world, in its impending awareness of spirituality. It's so easy to give in to sin, and the strong, emotional convictions that it involves. A lot of the pride and selfishness in humankind results in problems, when it comes to unity. The only way that humanity will ever come together in proper equality and peace is through God. When choosing between the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of life, there is a distinction.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil will always result in sin, suffering, and death, while being obedient will result in life, that is, to choose the tree of life. This is just a sort of metaphorical attempt to show the disunity and fallacy that humanity goes through when God is abandoned.
