Unshackling the Past, Crafting My Destiny
From Christian dogmas to self-discovery at thirteen,
I broke free from a world-ending dream.
No longer bound by dark obsessions,
I found my own path, learned life's true lessons.
Witnessing my mother's struggle and strife,
In a mind manipulated, she fights for her life.
At seven, they painted me devil's art,
A twisted narrative that tore me apart.
But why surrender my power and grace,
To beliefs that confined, a toxic embrace?
On Bourbon Street, I forged my own space,
At fourteen, I rose, a choice I embraced.
Dreams bloomed, as my hands took the lead,
In winds of change, I found what I need.
Believing in myself, I stand so tall,
Facing the world, breaking down each wall.
No other claims my strength's vibrant course,
I'm the weaver of destiny, an unyielding force.
Crafting my universe, my reality's domain,
A fierce, empowered woman, breaking every chain.
I broke free from a world-ending dream.
No longer bound by dark obsessions,
I found my own path, learned life's true lessons.
Witnessing my mother's struggle and strife,
