Don't forget me
It does feel like you have
It does feel like I'm overlooked
Like my day will never come
I am still working at it
I am still stumbling and falling
So why do I feel forgotten?
Will my time ever come?

Oh how well I know these feelings of being overlooked if not entirely abandoned. The plea within the write captures those feelings so perfectly. Forlorn. A difficult emotion to express but done well engages the reader and makes a fan for life. Great write. H🌷
