Trapped in Life
My eyes are wide open but I just can't see
"Hold onto yourself" is my mind's only plea
I stare at the mirror and all I can see
Is a hollowed statue of who I used to be
I stretch my arms reaching out to the sky
Waiting for the wings that will show me how to fly
Maybe this time I will make it right
Hopefully soon I'll enjoy the ride
I've been waiting all this years to be set free
This might be the moment that I always wished
I'm scared of waking up to find out it was a dream
I guess my only option is to take the risk
