Fore I am barren
My leaves have fallen, fore I am barren,
This weather has come, and taken all from me.
The coldness has stained me to the core.
My leaves have fallen fore I am barren.
The kids all run and play,
while I am stuck in the ground.
They climb upon me day by day,
Their laughter a distant sound.
My leaves have fallen, fore I am barren.
In the spring they will grow back,
Though the feeling will remain.
The children will have gone and came,
Because to them I stay the same,
But to me,
My leaves have fallen,
Fore I am barren.
This weather has come, and taken all from me.
The coldness has stained me to the core.
My leaves have fallen fore I am barren.
The kids all run and play,
while I am stuck in the ground.
They climb upon me day by day,
Their laughter a distant sound.
My leaves have fallen, fore I am barren.
In the spring they will grow back,
Though the feeling will remain.
The children will have gone and came,
Because to them I stay the same,
But to me,
My leaves have fallen,
Fore I am barren.
