I used to be so happy
a little girl with no care in the world
never worried, never hid
i was the invincible kid
what happened to her?

why did she go through so much pain
at a young age she became filled with anger and regret

she used to be so kind
now she is heartless all the time

she lied to her parents and plastered on a smile

she was too young to understand
what was done by the stupid drunk man
but know she knows and wishes to vent
but it hurts her mother so to see her resent
she used to be perfect

She wants to write a letter
one only her eyes have seen
it would truly only be mean
she wants him to read it and do what she asks
she asks him to tell her the truth and then die a painful death
she used to think and hope for nothing but the best
