Probably

Here I sit, again
Dried ink in chewed pen
Stuck on the tides of time like a mudslide chasing the sun

Here I am, once more
Painful knees with toes sore
Counting the steps I've taken backwards as if they led me away

Every moment lost
Every lesson's cost
As I learn in repeat the same instances that haven't happened yet

So here I stand, again
To moan as I stretch my limbs
Walking on the sifted hours so that they may be replaced by forgotten memories
