you are on your knees
i am not

you obey orders
accept my punishments

you open your mouth

you bend over the table
waiting for the pain to come

you say ‘yes sir’ ‘thank you sir’
after each agonizing stroke

you strip and expose crawl and beg
you open and receive

any cruelties or kindnesses
i have devised

thankful that

giving commands

testing limits
pushing boundaries

observing
guiding correcting

giving lessons
accepting suffering

watching struggles

appreciating that
