Come to Florida. We get a monsoon daily at 3:27. Lasts like 20 minutes and makes everything feel like a clothes dryer you opened 15 minutes into the cycle!
It’s fun!
Cute piece.

Records are being broken in Southern Arizona, as well.
There's been at least 4 RAIN TEASE DAYS in a row -- i hear thunder but NO moisture.
Already, here in southern AZ, we've had 5 days of temps over 110 deg F!!!!

Everything is messed up, it seems. Sad. Hopefully the rain won't be replaced with dust storms, although I do love the Arabic word for them: haboob.
High of 114 today. Supposed to be that way all week.

i told my step-daughter (she lives in Mesa) that she needs to visit me as opposed to the reverse BECAUSE of the heat. She laughed but agrees.
In the Tucson metro area,
we are usually 10 degrees lower than the Phoenix metro area.
i have a cousin who moved to just outside of Houston, TX
and is bitchin' about the heat (she moved from southern California) and i laugh tried to warn her before her move as i lived in Texas for Basic Training and Technical School in the USAF.
Basically it's freakin hot everywhere.
Not a fan of the Dust Devils or dust storms

My damn RL pocket is still empty! WTF!
Anyway, wow! I won't complain about here (Central Florida, Clearwater area) anymore! It's "only" hovering around 95 daily, and has finally managed some bit of rain three evenings in a row. We are very low on rain again. So much for tropical weather here. But, nothing like Texas and Arizona is suffering through.
I've been reading that it's turning into a global crisis heat wave. But, supposedly it will cycle around to milder for some areas soon. Not us, and not y'all over there!
Btw, all of the air conditioners being run max, is also why electric cars are not a good option in today's current electric capacity. Most of the hot areas cannot support both. That's a fact.
Stay cool or stay in the pool at least! Lol.

You mean weather poems I write in 15 seconds are not RL worthy? I'm wounded.
I was talking with someone the other day about electric cars in AZ. Totally agree with you. I almost feel sorry for my AC when it's 117. It tries so hard yet can't cool below 80.
