Coffee or Tea?

As a connoisseur of both coffee and tea this piece soothes as well as beckons. I love love love your imagery, John.... I mean, Wow!... I too, feel that golden harmony and simply adore where your creative writing took me. I assume it's probably an ode to one of your coffeehouse baristas, yet it's allure captivated me from first drip to last steep.

So so beautifully written.

It was indeed an homage to one of my favorite baristas as you so intuitively picked up on my friend. Whenever she serves me whether it be a beverage I pay for or just the free water she says, "My pleasure" when i thank her. She seems to really enjoy making people feel good. I admire how she gives of herself even when not paid for it. Love that my envisioning of her captivated you my darling. That completes this poem for me

I must admit I have very much been a coffee girl for a while now.
I do love a good tea leaf dream though, just not in the habit for a while.
But what could be better than a peppermint smile.
Watching the sun rising on the dawn of your creation.
A lotus sea, looks and smells so divine.
But that bud where the coffee flowers blossom is heaven.
In communion with each other, making nature blush.
And her calliope voice eclipsed my moans of pleasure.
Truly poetry in motion... along with bodies in harmony.
