Dandelion Bear          
         
Dandelion bear          
Dines in patch of heaven          
On Yukon summer soma stems          
Like a lotus eater on fire with Shangri La          
Whose ivory thresh          
Is a prelude to cavernous combustion          
Wherein lies the wildflower sutra  
    
As he eats local
From nature’s produce market of love
While humans paint retina
And camera lens
With shades of wonder
Whose art is a quest  
For his pure unadulterated dream
Of forest freedom
