Tropical Island
I dream of lazy summer days
Three hundred and sixty degrees away
From anywhere beyond what's here,
Below the awning of a tree.
With it's canopies that give relief
And shade against the sun and heat.
A true luxury of nature,
As it's aspects coexist in some harmony and tandem.
All the branches are the perfect place for
Spiders, snakes and panthers.
Front center staring off into the vast and wild ocean,
On a small and tropic island.
Watching as the ocean turns
Into a sunset glowing amber.
Three hundred and sixty degrees away
From anywhere beyond what's here,
Below the awning of a tree.
With it's canopies that give relief
And shade against the sun and heat.
A true luxury of nature,
As it's aspects coexist in some harmony and tandem.
All the branches are the perfect place for
Spiders, snakes and panthers.
Front center staring off into the vast and wild ocean,
On a small and tropic island.
Watching as the ocean turns
Into a sunset glowing amber.
