Image for the poem Sharpened Tongue

Sharpened Tongue

With the blade of a sharpened tongue
mother maid bury my plume rouillée
as the rivers of twilight pass beyond
a hallowed guillotine of dark obscenity
biting off more than it can chew
a dauphine we have in my malaise
of gothic ambidextrous swinging my song
