Alive Nightmares
A plague has hit my head
A fox chasing a rabbit, me
It’s burning down my house,
My children, life,
A family of three
It’s mocking as I’m running
I don’t dare to look behind
I’ve lost all I once owned
I feel empty inside
And don’t you dare befriend the fox
I see it’s mob in tow
Their faces droop, with sadness too
As they burn my little home
They know what they do is wrong
They can’t make a choice to leave
They’ve been stuck and cornered, belittled and mocked
Just the same as me.
A fox chasing a rabbit, me
It’s burning down my house,
My children, life,
A family of three
It’s mocking as I’m running
I don’t dare to look behind
I’ve lost all I once owned
I feel empty inside
And don’t you dare befriend the fox
I see it’s mob in tow
Their faces droop, with sadness too
As they burn my little home
They know what they do is wrong
They can’t make a choice to leave
They’ve been stuck and cornered, belittled and mocked
Just the same as me.
