On TV we see all these horrendous events
Wars, deaths, deaths, deaths and other calamities
Tragedies, people hurting, crying
But that is on TV and far away.
Switch channels, switch emotion levels
Go to sports.
Not quite so when you start noticing
On the same TV channels
That some people near you are dying....
Your area, your age group
The vise is tightening
Are you still breathing?
For how long?
Go to sports?

It's hard to watch the news. It's very depressing. Very rarely do we see the lighter side of the news or at least inspiring stories that should be there everyday.
