Gay Abandon
Growing up in the 90's,
reading books with a happy imagination,
that meant
a Reckless Action with Unrestrained Joy,
and left it at that,
Now,
it means
forgoing all empathy, compassion, tolerance,
and running into the hating claws
of the far right;
and there ain't nothing happy or alright about any of that.

I find the heinous attacks by the right as their lashing out to distract and sabre rattle. It's painfully inhumane.
But... the silver lining is that all this negativity has made everyone aware.
Everyone.
How many people are now aware of the plight of trans citizens? Versus 10 years ago.
I see a title wave of resistance coming.....people are sick and tired of chaos and distraction and personal attacks....and hypocrisy.

The silver lining indeed, is that these vicious attacks by the right to demonise, result in more creations of angels; people willing to champion the good cause or to speak up in defiance of defamation.

Sadly I’m not sure how much the far right actually read. If they read more literature it might give them some compassion, so maybe that’s why they don’t.
