Indigo Butterflies

The sun is shining
The dragons
Breathe in it's rays
Whilst fairies dance in circles
On this gorgeous late Spring day

The velvet blue azure sky
Above the magical leafy trees
Lay witness to indigo butterflies
Fluttering along the breeze

I stood there quite enchanted
As i fell down to my knees
Bewitched by their strange beauty
Within the magic of the trees

Leaves hovered like feathers on a zephyr wind
Floating like a myriad wing-beats upon the sea
Mesmerising magical nature
As beautiful as infinity

The indigo butterflies softly embrace
Delicate as a fading fire
As they drift of into a golden sunset
Feasting within their desires
