A Consensus Of One
some say i'm a wannabe elitist
some might think i'm a lowkey defeatist
the hung jury is right on both ends
lemme break it down
i LIKE elite shit
extravagant type shit..creative shit
out of the box...that off the wall type shit
like 'OH SHIT' type shit
people who put their heart and soul in whatever they do
those who seek to achieve THEIR personal best
who groove in their own lane
while respecting yours
those who roll with
original + devotional + visionary type mindsets
that's like foreplay for the Soul to me
i like folks who cultivate their own IT factor
and don't waste time competing
or comparing themselves to anybody else
cuz they are unique
in their own right
who shine their own light
in every room they enter..
i don't have to completely agree with their ideology
but i can always respect their originality
and rational
as for the defeatist accusations
there's a difference between
giving up and moving on
i know a lost cause when i see one
and even if i'm wrong
it doesn't matter because
i never really give a fuck in the first place
i'm the type if it ain't done with passion
then what's the point?
don't wanna be passive
and pass time
just to occupy my empty space
with irrelevant filler
either something moves me or it doesn't
um not gonna go along to get along
or cuz someone else thinks it would be a good look for me
i'd rather be alone in own corner
standing my own ground
a weirdo in his own world
creating my own language with my Creator
living my creed as i see fit
