there are those
who fear the roar
of raucous thunder
when they do not
understand
the fierceness
of the wild light

To fear the noise of thunder because you don't understand the energy of the lightning strike.
Man, that can sprout a thousand little tree-thoughts. I fucking dig each one.
I love your style, your vibe, and the way you pull a single image together in compact form with nothing wasted.

Our tech-driven society has dulled our relationship with the fiercer aspects of the wilderness. We have drifted so far from the old ways over this time that we often don't understand the source of our fears in the more organic worlds. The roar is not as fearsome as the strike, you understand this, but the rumble is a far more prevalent force to the now-untrained modern ear.
