perhaps i was a fool to think of you
  that somehow we'd being a new
 ending to this story that we had in
but now the wind goes and an end begins
  rather the end that was always there
lay buried till i decided to disturb its air

perhaps i'm an idiot to think there a chance
  that i'd go straight to you given a glance
to show tou that theres no fear in me
    ravage my heart and pour in to see
 your name never left my lips
      even in despair i held your kiss

perhaps even these words wont do the trick
   that i'm merely wasting my breath, and you think me a prick
 for opening wounds closed long ago
forgotten me safely until i came to you
     though that is what i deserve
 i can't help but believe there's more
