I like how you carry a sort of theme that translates well, in the end. An obscured assessment of variance to dealing with some of the dark underbelly that is many people's lives. What registers as "real", to someone in captivity or bondage in a world of drugs, sex, violence, sin, and death? Deliverance? Perhaps death is the sought-after deliverance, when reality is denied because one can't deal? Some interesting, internal questions could beckon anyone seeing themselves in this, vicariously. Anyway, good job using metaphor, emotion, definition, observation, direction, etc.

There are so many souls lost to humanities manufactured poisons. It’s terrifying when you realize that nobody is immune and the ones we most trust are essentially the drug dealers.
