A Pacifist
She stood guard even though the bombs
had stopped . Silence seeped into her
mind but her body would not listen and
kept her up a nights going over plan A and
B just incase . Since her life got rocked and
in every fibre of her being she felt the after
shocks . It’s not the moment your life implodes
it’s when the debris settles that she started
to howl in pain not knowing what now how why . Stuck in such a state of complete denial she wasn’t weak and could always stand on her own feet until now. Stress builds like a pressure cooker mix in illness and the ramifications of limited resources and income and she was at the door with a rifle with only blanks to protect herself. She never hurt a person in her life only herself with trying to be a pacifist but that strategic approach doesn’t work while at war .
