Lie To Me

Shall we meet and play a game?
All it takes is play pretend
I'll lie to you, you'll lie to me
The only rule is make-believe

We can borrow old emotions
We don't need to feel devotion
Let's pretend that we still care
But our hearts we will not trade

Honesty is overrated
Love can never be forfeited
We feel love that's not a lie
But feelings have no strings attached

Our lives are divided by thousands of miles
The wrong place and the wrong time
I can pretend you're still my lover
You can't break the heart you've already slaughtered

If you tell me what I want to hear
I'll give you what you want to feel
We'll lie to each other in every kiss
We'll lie to each other under the sheets

I'll lie with my body, I'll lie with my eyes
You lie with your mouth in between my thighs
Even if your words do not come true
I already expect nothing from you

If I'm not moaning loud enough
Remind me what I signed up for
Kiss my forehead, I won't cry
I know better than to buy your lies

Lie to me like you've done before
After this month, we'll carry on
Tonight I'll be anything you want me to be
Just one last time, please lie to me.
