Annie's Dance

How each move of yours enthralls,
Every step I make
Does mirror your mighty calls
Cuing each sworn sake
That obeys this owner’s feats
Favor finds to spread
The hopes he fashions for heats
Suffered by my head.

Annie, as blessed be your heart,
You display a dream
Conscious come there to impart
Joys your strong sight streams
And believes in gifts you give
To hopes that endure
As ebbs of prime promise lives
For your fancy pure.

Pious paths lead me near much
Savored cords you strike
True to faith fostered and clutched
By the sure that like
Messages muted by culture's clash
In want in which ire
Seethes beyond proper souls rash,
Awake, and inspired.

What calm echoed by what crack
Can become what bares
A strength strident to a track
You pursue to care
If another has a chance
To meet destined days
To rejoice in the real dance
Life lets have its ways.
