Puzzled (22)
Should he turn left?
No that was the direction of the Devil
Ah, but was wwhere all these scantily clad beauties were
Such as he only saw and enjoyed in his dreams
Ah, but this dream allowed him and for a moment he dared enjoy
Though his conscience and his rigid upbringing would not let him enjoy the flesh
Should he turn right?
Not really, that was the way to Nice and Totally Boring
Straight ahead, then, to the Unknown
But then he ended at a roundabout
Ended up going round and round
Daring to enjoy fleeting moments, fleeting images
Started having headaches and visions
And endless debates in his head
Left, NO, Right, NO: that would be worse
Then his heart skipped a beat
Ended up in a brick wall
And days later woke up
From a wonderfully troubling sleep
In the loony bin.
