If You Thought Athens Was Beautiful, You Ought To See Heaven

I was on the hill, green rolling meadows with babies in white diapers crawling around with snow white sheep. My hair was down to my ankles. I stood up and looked towards a city to my right, beautiful palace tops, green trees lining the edge of the field. I started to run in that direction, as I wondered down the dirt road, palaces to my right, at the end of the city on the left side of the street, here stood the most beautiful structure I had ever seen. Pillars as big around as a small car, so white I could hardly set my eyes straight on them without being in pain. The porch behind the pillars was probably about 100 foot long. I was in amazement.
All the sudden a voice called to me saying, dear child, you must first travel through the desert before you can enter into the kingdom of heaven.
A door opened up and there was a vast desert just on the other side. I walked through it, just as the voice instructed me. Now, here I am, in this vast desert called life. Trying to hang on to truth, trying to get back up every day, ignoring mirages, and searching for living waters.
I painted the scene when I woke up that day, of the babies, the sheep...the pillars. I had never seen a place to accurately describe even 1/4 of the beauty of that indescribable oasis...until today.
I was scrolling through stories and ran across an almost exact picture. Its the Parthenon in Greece.
But I have to say, it was better and indescribable in my dream. I only believe in Jesus, and God the father, I'm not into Gods and goddesses of ancient times, for scripture says, "thou shalt not put any other God before me" But I do find it interesting that I walked the steps of this magnificent piece of history that I didn't even know existed here on earth in a dream where it was new and not aged at all.
