Sticks And Leaves

With teapot and flowers  
in reverie's vision of musing  
little Ginger Snaps

through the sticks and leaves
haunting the myriad of bees
dancing on petals in meadows

scenting Autumn's awakening
of the yew's growing beard
and the cloven silence of deer

as twilight falls a memory kiss
on a stone where a spirit cries  
soft winds of a doily's face

kissed by a Dryad on a swing  
listening to the caroling
with teapot and flowers
