Heart Compass

Heart that doesn't beat
paced and fast.
No rhythm and no rush.
Pass as you pass
quiet in front of me
without looking back!

Love that passes without a right step.
Uncertain love of uncertain step.
Rushed and rushed and rushed!
Love without pity or compassion.
Love that tears the heart.

If I asked you would you bring
your arms to the balcony?
If so! It comes very slowly.
We meet, then, in the middle, in the jump...
Maybe when we get to that temperature
in which the volatile becomes solid!

And we can wait for the twilight
to swallow the greens we forgot.

Author's Note
I am usually a pacer. I go to the balcony to check the sight lines way up there, to check the sound system to see how the balance is.
