Image for the poem The Grazing

The Grazing

Where the dead are grazing
chewing twilight's cud
weaning the worms
from the screaming birds
in shadows of the Willow
out of the body, free from loam
suffering from Hippocrates's gout
playing the recluse-speaking tongue
