Sing Me A song

I can see and feel with my inner eye
the magnificent beauty of nature,
crystal waters that I call home
and a well, l spent with coins
as a young boy.

"Ah, things ain't what they used to be,
from the north and south and east."

Now that my life has gone full circle,
a whisper grows closer to my impending
holding on to memories of days gone by,
listening to the old squeaking glider
sing me a song like an autoharp.
