I never started out to be
a conformist
riding along keeping my thoughts to myself
World events
Current events
have a way of changing
altering a mind
Mindset drummed into from childbirth

A pain filled upbringing
continued onto young adulthood
brings about a type of rebellion
and a Big Mouth
often to the point of blabber
without pre-thought

i was probably destined to travel
all the roads filled with
sharp rocks, glass………thorns
i can handle the hurts
learning how to
healing from
better equipped
helping others

Now older (hopefully wiser)
i try to smooth and polish
the rocks and glass
after each new steps taken
with little
ado
to do
in my future
