Wallyroo92, the Musical!
Walternate Universe – MUS-102
Right away I could hear a choir, an orchestra, a chorus line?
The portal opened again but right into the same auditorium
The stage was full with singers and actors dancing and singing
But something felt strange, it seemed more like a sanatorium
I looked at the brace’s destination and it was off by a digit
Soon all the cast started dancing and singing around me
They didn’t seem shocked that I had appeared out of nowhere
They were more concerned I wasn’t signing the musical themes
But what struck me as odd was their smiles, and eyes wide open
I was shook by their look but hooked by the melody of their songs
I couldn’t help the feeling that there was something more sinister
Like when you know someone in here doesn’t quite really belong
“Come on, sing!” one of the pretty girls dressed as rag doll said
“Yes, sing” another added as they pressed their bodies to this newcomer
“I don’t sing, I don’t dance” I responded, “But I do play the drums”
They all stopped and their mood changed saying “We don’t like drummers”
Next thing I know I’m body surfing across a heap of chorus hands
Some pinching me hard in the bum simply because I said I play drums
Then they threw on the stage like they were about to do a number
Suddenly I heard and felt the Magnificent suit begin to vibrate and hum
I started floating about three feet in the air but I still felt very scared
“He’s a witch” I heard one say “get a switch or something for a whip”
“Fuck this” I said but for some reason a portal wouldn’t open
“Feet don’t fail me now” I said landing on the stage, I knew I had to dip
I booked it toward the exit running anxiously and desperate
But once in the street I was thrown back by what I was seeing
Every building for blocks on end were playhouses and theaters
Everyone in the streets was singing. Every. Single. Human. Being.
I kept running amidst the dancing crowds trying to go unnoticed
When in the distance those from the theater yelled “he’s a drummer”
I quickly began to dance because it seemed it’d be my only chance
Until I remembered, “Dang it I’m a terrible dancer, what a bummer”
They started coming toward me, snapping fingers and jazz dancing
“M-bop-too-doo-doo-tack-tack-kick-kick-a-wop-a-bam-bing-bing-struts”
Then more and more joined in “ski-bap-bop-bop-too-doo-doo-cats-cats-cats”
So I did the only thing I could think of “boots, cuts, boots, cuts, boots, cuts”
“It’s true, he’s a drummer! Seize him!” they yelled and started bum rushing me
When suddenly the Magnificent suit again began to hum and vibrate
I guess the magnets aligned inside pulled me upward toward a street sign
When a portal opened so I got out of there before any thoughts could formulate
When I came out on the other side the bushes and trees seemed to be gigantic
I thought this world looked primitive but at least I survived the attack
Then I noticed giant footprints on the ground like that of webbed feet
I closed my eyes and shook my head no, when behind me I heard loud quack…
