The World is Different At Dawn

The world is different at dawn
Quieter, simpler
The world is calm at dawn
The birds wake at dawn and sing their warning song, of the bears that woke with the sun and trundle on
The mist rises at dawn
Dew from warming ground, from colored petals, from glowing leaves
It rises to the heavens where it waits before falling back to earth as the afternoon rain
Sunbeams are magical at dawn
They stream over the tips of the mountains, gathering the glow and grace of snowmelt waterfalls, the softness and strength of the evergreens, before streaming into the valley and illuminating my buttercups with the light of God
The world is simple at dawn, I can do anything at dawn
Grant me a cup of tea and a sweater and I will sing a morning song
