Between Scylla and Charybdis

a body in the hands
volatile oozes and
dehydrates the skin
we touch it
we let him be
we want to appropriate it
we breathe the air
that it exudes
we lick the drops
that cover the hair
a strange void
inhabits the space
between the body
and the hands

a concrete void
that fills the hands
the mouth and the pores
a tactile void
slips fickle
and exposes the skin
the body expands into the void
and fills all hands...

we sip it
we watch him be
we drop it in the air
a body is emptiness
that fills hands
we seek candy
we squeeze it
we take the air

a body in the hands
it is a product of a theft
it's an armed robbery
a body is a bomb
that explodes in the hands
that mixes
soluble
to the sweat of the hands

a body is a wound
exposed
a body is a scar
eternal
a tremor
a masterpiece
so old and so modern
we look at it
we make it stand
we make him stay
between hands
to join the void
and get written
on the palms of our hands...
