I can't say love has been
A friend of mine
I've loved and lost
So many times
Always ending alone
I've often thought
The one thing I did right
Was to keep on trying
Looking for a good man
To love that I
Could call mine
I don't need a man
To feel that I'm complete
Just want a man
That I can share my life with
