Balance
I am an acrobat
Forever stanced on a beam of light and
darkness
Fall to one side, an abyss you will find
Fall to the other, a light that blinds
Do not be a glutton
For the light or the dark
Be the soul that walks between
A world that's bright, and a world unseen
For what is dark shall be pierced by light
And what is bright shall be shrouded in night
Even so, at night there is the moon
A symbol of sadness and gloom
Yet the cold light that shines
Is the reflection of a sun that blinds
There must be balance between love and malice
Drinking cosmic blood, from a universe chalice
Forever stanced on a beam of light and
darkness
Fall to one side, an abyss you will find
Fall to the other, a light that blinds
Do not be a glutton
For the light or the dark
Be the soul that walks between
A world that's bright, and a world unseen
For what is dark shall be pierced by light
And what is bright shall be shrouded in night
Even so, at night there is the moon
A symbol of sadness and gloom
Yet the cold light that shines
Is the reflection of a sun that blinds
There must be balance between love and malice
Drinking cosmic blood, from a universe chalice
