Glancing at me

Your look shatters all the mirrors
hanging on the walls
of my labyrinth...
mystical!

Your look makes me feel
like a bacteria under a microscope.

Your gaze does not
fall asleep
when the moon comes
and reflects the sun.
Your gaze brings danger
on black wings.

The danger of your gaze
keeps hovering
over the curtains, the sheets,
the lamps.

The danger of you in me.
In you floating on the skin,
in the hair, in the gums...

The danger of being followed
by your gaze, the drawer handles,
the sockets on the wall, the feet,
the baseboards and the dust
on the carpet, on the furniture,
in the conjunctivae.

The underwater silence of your eyes
inhabits every line of the books I read...

Your shattered look guards
all the mirrors of my labyrinth...
